About Us

DYA Baseball formally known as PSYL was formed in 1959 and has been serving the kids of the Coachella Valley ever since.  We rely heavily on volunteers to manage our organization. Anyone with the desire to serve kids and their families is welcome to join our Board of Directors.You will find that DYA is one of the leaders in the effort to bring the valley's leagues together. Spring Softball and Baseball registration begin online in November with our lowest rates of the season. Rates generally increase each month until registration closes in February. We offer scholarship and payment plans for kids who qualify.  Teams form in mid-February with games starting in the second week of March. The game schedule runs to late May.

All Stars is a summer program open to kids that played in the regular spring season. These are tournament teams that travel So Cal and beyond for a chance to win a trip to play in the PONY World Series. 

Winter Softball and Baseball. New teams form in September and play starts in October.Winter season is a multi-league program. The program is managed by a committee of local league leaders called the Low Desert Committee. We play other leagues in Palm Springs, La Quinta, Thousand Palms, Palm Desert and in Indio. The games begin in early October and concluded the week prior to winter break. Teams are formed in early September. Games begin the second week of October.
